Chapter 7, Introduction
The Overcomers are the Kingdom Personnel
When the gracious Lord was on earth, He clearly stated: "Many are called but few are chosen." After He had ascended into heaven, He further declared through Apostle John in the Book of Revelation that: "He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne." Also, to emphasize how important "overcoming" is, He cited Himself as the example and added, "as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne". The intent of these words may be: Just like Me, I have to overcome in order to reign over all that the Heavenly Father has entrusted to Me! If Christ, our Teacher, has to overcome, what about us, who are His disciples? So He said, "A disciple is not above his teacher" and this is an unchanging truth between Him and us!
